This lecture is mainly on the theme of survivorship and the contributions that surgery has give us to enhance women's breast cancer survivorship and the outcomes in women with breast cancer. It will highlight some of the recent advances in recent decades of things that have helped us improve outcomes for women. And one of the bigger ones is better imaging and better diagnostic capabilities in many institutions. We also have increased use of systemic therapies. What we commonly call hormonal therapies and chemotherapy.
