It is very worth reading. Sociology, especially for our college students, is a little strange. This book will undoubtedly give us a lot of insight and help. It simply introduces us some characteristics of Chinese society and expounds that Chinese society is local and inseparable from soil, which is also closely related to Chinese people's moral concept, family concept and so on. Firstly, the first article demonstrates that Chinese society is local. The Chinese people have been busy around the land. The land has become the symbol of the Chinese people and bred generation after generation. The second and third chapters are about the connection between words and local China. People usually foolishly think that rural people don't know words because of their stupidity. In fact, it's not the case. Rural people don't need words to convey because they are familiar with each other as a group. Secondly, there is no soil suitable for the survival and use of words in the countryside. China is also family in nature, from generation to generation, taking itself as the center and forming complex interpersonal relationships. China's local society has the nature of etiquette. Different organizational forms have different moral etiquette, just like the self denial ceremony in ancient times. This also stipulates that men and women have different characteristics. Within each group, everyone is equal and cannot infringe on the interests of others and groups. Groups form a differential order pattern. In the local society, the status of women is not very low, and the differences between men and women also lead to this inequality, which is closely related to the social structure. However, some properties of local society also inhibit the advantage of women's emotional sensitivity. This book describes the characteristics and nature of Chinese society and shows us the face of local China.
