    After reading this book,I can answer these follow three questions confidently.

    The first one is about five major principles of The Spring and Autumn:First,the style of the book is characterized by simple and concise language,to express ideas and commend or criticize historical figures and events in a indirect way.Second,is the text does not use arguementative language to express the author's views.Third,it expresses its views on historical figures and events.What's more,it use suitable examples to show its opinion in a tactful way.

    The second one is about "Great Man":Mencius stresses that a great man should have high aspiration to carry out Dao,adhere to moral integrity,stay upright,and his observation of Dao should not be influenced by extranal matters.

    The third is about "Conscience":Conscience in Chinese includes ren i.e. love for one's parents and yi i.e. respect for one's elder brothers.
