Zhan Tianyou, a famous railway engineer in China during the Qing Dynasty, is one of the famous biographies of famous people in the world. Zhan Tianyou was sent by the Qing government to study in the United States because of his genius. He returned home after completing his studies and was appointed chief engineer to build the Beijing-zhangyang Railway. Though construction was difficult and technologically backward, Zhan overcame these obstacles one by one, leading workers to build China's first railroad that did not rely on foreigners for help and was hailed as the father of China's railways.
