At the beginning of this chapter,I had thought that Fraggion was scolded because of his incompetence.Gradually,I found that Mr. Alleyn was a mean and unkind leader.Thus,The protagonist deserved to be sympathized.However,he was a bad guy who got triggered due to some trivials.He was not caring to look after his children which can be witness from the end of this chapter.The meanings of the title Counterparts,therefore,I argue,iterate that the man not only should be compassionated but also is repulsive.
