An interesting thing happened after he took the new French servant Passepartout away from London and set off on this unusual journey. On the seventh day after Mr.Fogg's departure, a completely unexpected thing happened that the British National Bank had been stolen a huge sum of money. Scotland detective Fex found that Fogg's features was the same as that of the burglars that had been investigated by the police. So he followed Mr.Fogg, made a lot of trouble and wasted a lot of Mr.Fogg’s time on his way. While Mr.Fogg was not a coward, he arrived in Suez on time after accurate calculation, arrived India by boat, and rescued a young widow in India, Mrs. Ada. They took a mail boat to Hongkong, where the police did not receive a warrant. Then Fogg arrived in Japan and met with Passepartout here. After several twists and turns, Mr.Fogg crossed the North American continent but soon Fex arrested him. The real thief was arrested three days ago so they had to release Fogg.Verne, born in France, is the author of the ”Around the World in 80 Days”. Indeed, our dear author devoted himself to this book. Every single word shows his devotion and the time he spent on it. Faithfully, I think highly of this unique book. What impressed me most is that the author made a trick on the date. At the end of the story, our hero Mr.Fogg went back to London with his servant Passepartout, but soon people found that they were five minutes late. But soon they discovered that they were totally facing East, which means that they earn one day in this way. In other words, they came back to London within 79 days!
