  The man is a typical figure in the Old Age,who chase for fame, love, riches, pleasure,which will never last long.He is so shallow that he choose it for his own convenience,never thinking about whether he will live a meaningful life then.Only when one truly considers death as a gift will he realize to cherish all the other four gifts in life and fight for a meaningful life.

  After reading this book,I have some new understanding of our life.From the author's perspective,fame,love,riches and pleasure are fake and will fade away in the end.Only death is perpetual and valuable.I think the author's views are a little extreme.However,at some particular moment,death may be actually a kind of liberation for some people.
