    如上所述，美国人如果学习中国文明，他们就会变得深刻，英国人会变得广博，德国人会变得单纯，而所有的这些人通过学习中国的文明、书籍和文学都会得到一种精神品质，就我看来这是一种精神品质，也就是说他们所有人事实上，没有一个在精致方面到卓越的程度。
