By presenting Hamlet's two views on fate, Shakespeare not only denies the two extreme views on fate, but also shows the right attitude towards fate: man's misfortune is not due to any external contingency, but to individual nature and choice. In the play, Hamlet plays many roles. He appears to be a philosopher, an avenger and a dramatist at the same time. However, Hamlet could not control his anger at first, and then complained repeatedly about the injustice of his fate. This is certainly a big problem for the Prince of Denmark.
