  把它们分为三类。 第一类，感慨时间的宝贵与无价。例如:Time is a file that wears and makes no noise./光阴如锉，细磨无声。Time stays not the. fool's leisure. /时间不等闲逛的傻瓜。Time is life and when the idle man kills time, he kills himself./时间就是生命，懒人消耗时间就是消耗自己的生命。 第二类，感慨时间飞逝，岁月不再。例如:Time and tide wait for no man. /岁月不待人。Time is, time was, and time is past. /现在有时间，过去有时间，时间一去不复返。Time flies like an arrow, and time lost never returns. /光阴似箭，一去不返。 第三类，感慨时间是尺，万物皆检。例如:Time tries friends as fire tries gold. /烈火炼真金;日久见人心。Time will tell./时间会揭示真相。Time brings the truth to light./时间一到，真理自明。
