“foreword”

    The part of foreword lead readers to a story of author's life from his childhood,he show us what he saw on the top of the tower of Old Saint Lawrence in Rotterdam,where he glimpse the big world.Attracked there,as soon as possible,he go to the tower to see the land and the sky and listen to the stories of a watchman.And finally,he point that History is the mighty Tower of Experience,and young feet are strong enough to reach the top.

I agree with the view,there is a saying that “Take history as a mirror，you can know rising and drowning".We are all human,we have the same emotion,even the same experiences.Always,some similar events stage once and again,but few people notise them,that's a pity.I think that if ten percent of us can relize the true history among our lives,and keep it in mind,use it to see simple things,they will gain a lot and benifit to their whole lives.

As for the foreword,I like the narrative style,begin with a story and end with philosophy,nothing is better than this.
