Review of The Old Ma
《The Old Man and the Sea》 describe that an old fisherman Santiago circle round and fight with a big marlin in the condition that he hadn’t caught any fish for 84 days.On the return he was attacked by a big shark and at last when he returned to the bay ,there were only left with the fish head ,the fishtail and some wreckage.
But a man is not made for defeat.A man can be destroyed but not defeated.The old man beat the marlin ,but after the shark ate all the fleash of the marlin ,the old man became the loser.The fight between the old man and the shark was the fight of the mind and the strength.Althaugh the fleash was ate ,nothing can destroy the mind of the old man.Santiago was a loser,but his spirit that dare to fight against the strong made him a hero.Everything will be bound to death ,action won’t.Only by action can you succeed.
