Never say never
“Man can be destroyed, can not be defeated”.This is the sentence that impressed me most in《The old Man and The Sea》. I don't believe that man will have the so-called “fate”, but I believe that for anyone, there is always a “limitation”. No matter how strong or smart you are, what you can do is always limited.In 《The old Man and The Sea》,the old man tried his best to prove himself,refusing to give in to his fate. Finally, he caught a big fish, although the fish is already eaten by sharks. But the huge skeleton is breathtaking, and he was exhausted…Was he satisfied?Facing a beautiful life, he want to conquer it with the identity of a fisherman,it is actually a self-fulfilling impulse in him.When he tried to fight against his fate at the same time, something challenged himself. The old man began to feel sorry for the huge life which was conquered by himself and attacked by sharks.
After reading this book, my heart can't calm in a long time, the ordinary but respectable old man made me deeply know: life should not yield to any difficulties , we should do our best to do indomitable struggle with life.Success is not the only thing we pursue, and a never-say-die spirit is more valuable quality.
