A Service of Love

When one love one's Art no service seems too hard. This is what the story want to tell us. This piece is one of O.Henry's most famous article, telling a story about a poor couple who are lovers of art. However, in order to fulfill the other side, they both give up their pursuit of the art. They cheat each other so that one of them can have the opportunity to realize his or her dream of art. Not only this story tell us what is true love, but also shows the frustration and hardship of the roots of 19th Century America class life.
