The contradiction of life

The name of the book attracted me deeply the first time when I saw it. The butterfly and the tank are two seemingly common things which have been given a deep and extraordinary meaning by the author. The butterfly is the symbol of the poor man who was shot, and the tank is the symbol of the serious war. It is a contradiction that the misunderstood gaiety coming in contact with the deadly seriousness under the war. In fact, there are also many contradictions or situations like this happen in our lives. Some of them can be compatible with each other like happiness and sadness, nevertheless some of them are difficult to be compatible. This is life.
