Seeing Eye

Hemingway’s words are always simple, but show meaningful and moved emotions. In this novel, I can see a lovely couple talking about their happy life. The husband was a blind, and he tried his best to persuade his lover to have a trip rather than stay at home with him. He was afraid that she would lost herself when accompanied him every day. However, the wife hated him always wanted to send her away, and always said “you know”. In fact, he knew nothing of her mind. She wouldn’t feel happy at any place without him. He didn’t want her just to be a seeing-eyed dog, because she desired a better life. Nevertheless, she regarded herself as a seeing-eye dog. That’s to say, she was not only a tool but also a partner who was willing to be with him forever.Both of the spouses thought for each other. Though they were imperfect, they owned perfect love.
