After reading the novel young goodman brown, I could’t help thinking about the good and evil of human heart. Brown, the hero, who said goodbye to his new wife, Faith, and went to the woods for the devil’s covenant. But his heart struggled, and on hesitation, he was shocked to find that many of the pious and trustworthy people came to this devil’s gathering. Nevertheless, the emergence of his dear wife, Faith, was the biggest blow to him. No matter it was true or not, he was downhearted.
