A Good Man’s Miracle

In every good action there is a divine quality. There is no doubt that Mr. Raikes had the important quality. One day, he happened to pass through a certain street, which was inhabited chiefly by poor and ignorant people. What he saw was that a group of children were slowly moving towards evil and crime in a dirty environment. He was rather pitiful to see the phenomenon, so he decided to change this. Although he was not a billionaire, he still came up with a solution which saved thousands of people. The story reveals that the true faculty of doing good consists of not in wealth nor station, but in the energy and wisdom of a loving heart.
