Book review of mob

Zhangzy68
This semester I spent my spare time reading the mob, a work of social psychology by gustave le pen, a French social psychologist. I will now begin my review of the book from my own understanding. This book is mainly set after the French revolution. Bourgeois scholars regard the victory of bourgeois revolution as the victory of rationality. This view, however, does not account for the rational call to drive the king away, and for the horrors of jacobin's dictatorship. Le pen's unique approach to this problem from a psychological perspective, three of which impressed me deeply. First, when the person as an individual, reason is always the manipulator in the brain, and when the person as a group, affection is the manipulator of the brain, the group is characterized by impulsiveness, variable, impatience, PangLe call group "anonymous", because the group of large Numbers, individuals in the group to be held accountable, so their constraint feeling may disappear entirely, which makes me associate it with the network violence situation of today's society. Keyboard men express their personal opinions freely in an anonymous online community, which is not at all straightforward but a kind of recklessness caused by irresponsibility. Second, poundler says, "individuals in a group, or just a grain of sand in the desert, can be blown anywhere by the wind." Groups make individuals conform. Moral kidnapping is people go with the flow, are paranoid because of the strong moral sense to force others to do something to meet their moral sense, such as forced rich donations, bus body reason without considering others forced its seats, etc., those who are against the moral aura is the real perpetrators. Therefore, I believe that everyone should have independent consciousness and judgment ability, so as not to follow the trend of the world and kill the tiger. Finally, not all groups are a collection of negative energy, and the newly formed groups are malleable. Positive cues can make a group move in a positive direction. This suggests the importance of our role models. Limited by time and background, to some contents in the book I don't agree with, but only from the point of the group psychological theory to explain, no matter how big is the gap between time and space, group psychology is the combination of abnormal phenomenon, illustrates this psychology is from human itself, so "mob" is the masterpiece of worthy.
