Never Give Up
The book introduces an old fisherman who lives alone on the coast, his wife dies and has no children. Only one boy chat with him to and help him pack up fishing tools.
Recently, the old man had bad luck. He hadn't hunted a fish for 84 days. Although the bad luck covered him, he didn't give up. On the 85th day, he went to sea optimistically. This time, he had great luck. He caught a huge fish. Because the fish was bigger and stronger than the old man, the fish dragged the old man and his boat to the deep sea in the center of the ocean. After three days and nights of fighting, the old man defeated loneliness, pain and hunger, and killed the fish successfully.
The fish was tied to the boat and the old man began to sail home. The blood of the fish attracted the sharks in the sea. They desperately grabbed the flesh of the fish. Although the old man killed many sharks by all means, the flesh of the fish was eventually eaten by the sharks. When he came home, the big fish had only one skeleton left. He began to eat the bones of the big fish. Then he went to sleep.
