My View about this Book
袁雨辰
"Eighty days around the Earth" is a sci-fi novel about Mr. Fogg's bet with friends that his friends don't believe that if he loses, Mr. Fogg will lose his fortune if he travels around the world for a week in 80 days. However, under this pressure, Mr Fogg did not flinch, overcome all kinds of natural and man-made obstacles with a firm will, and finally traveled around the earth in eighty days. It wasn't easy at the time. Mr Fogg had a sense of justice, denouncing the poison of British opium on the Chinese people and ridiculing the US election. At the same time, he was full of confidence in his journey, and he believed that anything could be done with determination, and it was this persistence that led Mr Fogg to overcome all the difficulties and travel around the world. In the article, the characters are vivid and vivid. Reading at the same time, it can also help me to understand a wealth of geographical knowledge. It was in this way that I was fascinated by the novel and read it over and over again, but it was the quality of Mr. Fogg who gave up his life for the sake of tomorrow. How many people in life can give up their lives in this way for their friends. In life, self-confidence is the engine, is a force, with confidence you can go beyond yourself, to risk. If you don't have confidence, it's a pretty scary thing. Maybe before you take a risk, you quit and you feel you can't do it, so it's important to be confident in everything we do. Mr Fogg has this confidence. It was a science fiction, but I thought it was real, as if it had happened, and Mr. Fogg's witty and brave image was coming to my eyes again and again. But Mr Fogg alone cannot accomplish this difficult task, and he needs help. Passepartout (Mr Fogg's assistant), who always appears when Mr Fogg is in danger, is he faithful and risking his life for his master again and again? Not everyone can do this. Like Fix, he tried to kill Mr. Fogg, but the plot failed because of Passepartout, a loyal assistant. As to why he was called Passepartout, I suppose it was his nickname, for he was Mr Fogg's guide all the way, and he knew the way of every country, so it was called Passepartout. In reading this novel, you can unconsciously learn a lot: for example, geographical knowledge, the truth of life. In the language and action of the characters, you can know the strange customs and customs, so that you can understand the folklore around the world.
