By reading the book wrote by Gu Hongming.i know some things about gu hongming and also know somethings about the old China .This book gives a good introduction to the spiritual life of Chinese people.And propagated the value of Chinese traditional culture.Although I do not agree with some of gu hongming's views, there is no denying that he was great and his ideas were correct and worthy of praise at that time.He scorned western culture and praised Chinese culture too highly. His ideas were somewhat extreme.He say’s“Europeans will find this new moral force in China -- in Chinese civilization”.I appreciate and agree with his words.I like his confidence，his confidence comes from a deep understanding of China's 2,500-year-old traditional culture, especially the Confucian culture.The spirit of the Chinese people is the spirit of eternal youth, the immortal national spirit.Although his ideas were limited by The Times，Some of his ideas are absurd or rotten，Now many people deny his opinion，some people think his ideas are too idealistic，Ignoring its shortcomings.But there is no doubt he is a great man .
