　Maybe I read too few books, thought is very shallow, have to say that I do not understand very well, many language understanding has a sense of a problem, so it is a little hard to read. If you read this book, you should put yourself in the era of writing. Otherwise, you will have different opinions, at least in my opinion. The background of this book is that the image of China has been seriously distorted since the late Qing Dynasty. In 1915, Mr. Gu Hongming, known as the "old monster", wrote "The Spirit of the Chinese People" in English, aiming to safeguard the dignity of Chinese culture with his own pen and change the prejudice of some Westerners towards China.His patriotism is pure patriotism without any impurity, and this spirit far covers his eccentricity and his old-fashioned conservatism. I like the classification model of this book.And after readingthis book, sigh what are``Chinese spirits'' ? Well,as for me. Chinese spirits are so much----Unity Spirit in Sichuan Earthquake，Sports Spirit of Beijing Olympic Games，efforts and dedication and so on.Now I want to know more about the Chinese spirit, and efforts to contribute to the construction of the motherland!
