The story told that there was a soldier from provence who was captured by the Maghreb.Then, the provencal soldier escaped successfully. He escaped into the deserted desert. One night, he fell asleep. In the dark, he heard different breathing. He was very afraid.He knew from the sound of breathing that it was the sound of an animal's breathing. The soldiers were very afraid of being eaten. But it didn't. This was a panther. In the desert, soldiers and panther lived together. Soldiers tried to tame panther and they grew friendly in the desert. In my opinion, there will be feelings between people and animals, especially in the special environment, I really appreciate this book expresses that people and animals live in harmony. There are a lot of desert sentences in this book and it use the time order to narrate .
