Gone with the wind
陆柳秀
Scarlette (Scarlett) is a complex character-she gives a good impression: industrious, straightforward, responsible; and her windy fickle character, like the title of the book, "go with the Wind." She had three bumpy marriages because of her complex and changeable character. Therefore, when I read this novel, not only was I not moved by Scarlett's rebellious spirit and self-improvement, but I regretted her drifting life, losing all of it and still wondering where true love was. After all, the book ends with the spirit of her family not admitting failure, even if it is right in front of her. Now in this spirit, she raised her chin high. She can get Rhett back. She knew she could. There is no man in the world she can't get, as long as she makes up her mind. After all, tomorrow is a new day. "tomorrow is a new day", the author's sentence to generation after generation of spiritual baptism, give people with the spirit of self-improvement. In my opinion, "no man can't get" does not show her success, but reveals her unscrupulous means. For the sake of money, she can betray her happiness; for her own happiness, she can betray the happiness of her sister, sell the happiness of others, and create all the illusions she can make. But in the end, she will not get any real love. But Scarlett, she thought she was in control of the man, she thought she didn't fail, and she was still looking forward to tomorrow-not full of confidence, but blank expectations. This selfishness and hypocrisy determined that Scarlett had no perfect destination at the end of the story.
