This short story began with a talk with a reporter.The reporter is one of O.Henry friends.The Report told him a material used for comedy. There was a beautiful woman named Helen. Helen married with Frank. John was best man .However,John also loved Helen .After the end of wedding ,John was unsatisfied with this result. He went to find Helen to run away with him.Helen refused.When John kissed her hand as a goodbye ,Frank saw that scene.Frank felt angrily and left.Helen wanted to explain but it was too late.John ,who saw Frank leave ,tailed after Frank .When Frank drunk drunk,John hit Frank head because of jealousy.For that reason ,Frank lost his memory.After many years, Helen kept single in order to wait for Frank.Until one day, a gentleman named Ramonti confessed that he liked Helen.But she regretfully told him that she was married.As a matter of fact, Ramonti was Frank but with memory loss. But they didn't know each other.Until John confessed everything.Helen hurried to find Ramonti but could not find him again.Two people who love each other were separated by misunderstanding again and again.What a pity.Frankly speaking, everyone's life is like a film being staged, the next second is unknown.We should seize every minute of life, not to have a chance to regret.
