《the bed》,《who knows 》《coward》and 《he 》have something in common,their topics are all about fear, uneasiness and solitude. Nobody can deny their existence and prevent from them. They are inevitable. In 《coward》,the main character committed suicide because of the fear inside his heart. In《he》, the writer of the letter, a man who doesn't believe in marriage ,marry a woman he doesn't love owing to fear. He fear the strange feelings around him, which he guessed may be his delusion. So he fear being alone, eager to have someone accompany he. It sounds ridiculous. While under the description of tbe writer, everything goes so naturally.
