The Nightingale and the Rose
星杳
These days,I read a book which is called The Nightingale and the
Rose. The book tells us a story about a cold winter night, a
young student has to offer a red rose to dance with the girl he loves.
When the Nightingale heard the young student sobbing because she
couldn't pick a red rose, she thought that the student was the one she
had been singing and looking for. Therefore, in order to help students
achieve their desire for love, Nightingale resolutely decided to
cultivate a red rose with the blood of her life. But in the end, the
beautiful jewels and roses were thrown away by the students. In
the whole story, the nightingale is the only one who believes in love.
She firmly believes that the most valuable love is loyalty. The reason
why she is willing to give her life to help young people is because she
hopes and believes that young people are loyal to love. No matter how
smart philosophy is, love is smarter than her. No matter how great power
is, love is greater than it. It is because this time of loyal love is so
precious that nightingale is willing to give her life in exchange for a
loyal love. In this way, her life was wasted by the frivolity of young
people. This seems to be inevitable in this story. Because human beings
do not regard love as one thing, but care more about reality. And love,
they see as "boring things.". And it is because of the
inevitability of this outcome that it is even more sad. People's
yearning for and pursuit of beautiful things are even more insignificant
before their actual interests, and even a trace of the Spring Festival
in people's hearts has been eliminated under the pressure of reality.
That’s all my feelings.
