The Arabian Nights
梁芳瑜
The Arabian Nights is a collection of folk tales which was distilled
and processed by Arabian scholars. It’s the crystal of the wise Arab.
This book includes two stories called Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp and
Ali Baba and the Forty Robbers. Through two stories, I’m convinced that
we can feel the power of kindness and righteousness. Both Aladdin and
Ali Baba are poor but kind people. Standing in opposition to them is the
evil wizard and robbers, but they through their own wisdom and efforts,
bravely and successfully defeat the evil side. As far as I’m concerned,
what makes this book attractive and successful is that it delivers the
right vales to readers. It tells the readers to be a kind and contented
person because justice will triumph over the evil and greedy people
won’t come to a good end. Above all, I strongly recommend this book to
readers and I’m convinced that the readers also can learn a lot from two
fairy stories.
