My feelings
小太阳☀️
I have read a book called The Nightingale and The Rose. It tells
a story happened on a cold winter night. The Nightingale saw a student
crying and then knew his reason. He couldn't dance with his loved girl
because he didn't get a red rose. The Nightingale believed that was true
love and was determined to help the boy to get a red rose. Finally, the
Nightingale got a red rose with her life. However, even though that
student got the red rose, he couldn't dance with girl either. The girl
chose the jewels eventually. At last the indignant student returned to
his study, and the red rose was ground to dust by the wheels of reality.
In the story, the Nightingale believed there was true love. Although
death is terrible, she thought love was more important than life. But
that's not true love as she thought. That ruined rose showed the pallor
of love. That girl represents a vain value. They only pursue power,
money and status. The author praised the value of love and castigated
the worship of money. As far as I am concerned the love is valuable. It
can't be substituted by anything. We should learn from the Nightingale.
