"Pupil" is a touching story about a college student who goes to work as a tutor and tries his best to help his students in spite of all kinds of difficulties. The Morons are an American family who roamed Europe,and their egos outweighing their means. Their way of life supported by lies, cheating and bills.
It was no different when they found a tutor for their young son -- they hired him under false pretenses and did not pay him.
Pemberton, the governess, found himself attracted to the clever, world-weary boy and wanted to help him escape the family's wild life.But pemberton was penniless himself, and could not work without a wage. He still tried his best to help the boy out of his present life
