Love yourself

Please never look for yourself in the eyes of others. The words ran through my mind, page after page, to the end. I am a true slowness, in reading on the most incitement, this short novella, can let me finish in one breath, also can see its attraction. Interestingly, in Zweig's account, the unnamed woman learns more about her lover, the man who never remembers her. It was a magical cycle, in which Zweig knew so much about the female character he had created, and the female character knew so much about the male lead, that she lost herself. There has been a place for us here since we came into this world. How do we know that we exist? You are your parents' child, your friend's friend, your lover's lover by connecting with those around you... You feel your presence because you are connected, but these are only external and help you quickly find a way to feel present, not your true identity
