Impression of Pupil

The Pupil, a novella written by Henry James, a modern American novelist, it described the story of the Moreensand their son Morgan’s tutor Pemberton. The tragic ending of the novel reflected the moral corruption and the poverty ofcivilization of Americans under the social environment at that time.
