My Reflection

"Great Expectations", in Dickens' works, refers to Pip's ups
and downs of life, life is a stage, dazzling brilliant, plain humble, in
the end is a play, everything returns to its essence. It was a chance to
become a gentleman. He chose to leave his life as a horseshoe maker with
George and jump to the upper class life in London. What he left behind
was not only his original clothes, accent, but also his own roots. It
was a kind of escape from his own identity and his real self. But what
Dickens let us see is more touching side of human nature. Pip, even
though he was born in a humble family, has always been kind and brave in
that materialistic society; Estella, even though he was raised as a tool
of revenge since childhood, will really fall in love with PIP, which is
simple and simple. This is the glory of human nature, which can not be
erased in any way.A good work can always bring readers a lot of thoughts
on love, friendship and life
