机智如我

《老人与海》读后感

机智如我
Santiago, the old fisherman in The old Man and the Sea, has the brave spirit and quality that no wind can beat him. After 84 days in the Gulf of Mexico without a single fish, the old man decided to set sail for the 85th time in search of his lucky star. With many years of fishing experience, he came alone to the sea where there were many fish, but very far away. In the sea breeze, the boat moved forward quickly, and as expected, the fish was hooked, and it was a huge and fierce male shark. But by contrast, the old man was so helpless and powerless. There were many cuts on his face, his hands began to twitch, and he had not slept for two days and nights, and he -- he looked so tired, but he never let go of the net, he stuck it out, and finally, he had the strong shark under him. With his own extraordinary confidence and courage, he finally defended the fruits of his victory and became the winner of all the fierce battles. All the wind and waves had passed. The old man was wet from the sea, his face was tired and his face was bleeding from the cuts. But nothing could change his confident eyes. It was it that gave the old man the confidence to go to sea, and it was it that sustained him to fight in the sea for days and nights to the utmost in his life. A life is not always a failure, even if the failure is not despair, a person can be destroyed, is eternal, but his spirit is indelible, only to conquer their own impossible, to win. Napoleon Bonaparte once said, "To acquiescence in one's own incompetence is, without doubt, an opportunity for failure." Therefore, man should conquer himself first. There are a lot of people often put their failure due to the limited ability, in fact, talent is often aided by self-competition. Self-competition is the fastest speed, take out the best results to exceed their original set of the most.
