When I read The Sorrows of Young Werther I was surprised at the fluency of Goethe's writing. I was deeply impressed by his delicate deion of the scenery of Werther 's heart of the people around Werther and of what Werther said before he decided to commit suicide at the end. The novel is d on Goethe's own experience ，which make the story sounds true. In the book because of the bondage of the feudal system Werther can not be with his favorite girl. At the same time he is oppressed by the feudal hierarchy in his work. Unhappy and feeling that no one understood him he committed suicide. I see his death as a longing for freedom and a celebration of life and love.But the most attractive part of the book is its deion of Werther's love and unwillingness. I have to say these deions struck a chord with me. Although I don't have Werther's intense sense of grief I do know the loss I feel when for various reasons I'm not with the person I love. It was that subtle struggling feeling that made me sympathize with Victor. When I read about Werther's suicide I was surprised at Werther's refusal and felt his despair at the same time.
