A Dill Pickle

A Dill P ickle tells a sour love story. After six years of breaking up with her boyfriend, heroine Vera me e t s him accidentally  in a restaurant. They s i t face to face in the restaurant, recalling the time they had spent, and their experiences in the six years of breaking up. During the conversation, the man seem s  to have not forgotten the old feelings of Vera, and Vera question s  her decision in her heart. It seems that the couple will make up again. However, the hero's performance disappoints Vera once again: what he needs is just a listener, not a lover for life. He is  as selfish and indifferent as he had been six years ago, all he said is  to open  Vera’ s eyes to   the idea that it was wrong to give up that relationship , which le a d s  to Vera's final decision to leave. T ak ing  the common scenes in life as the background, it  is very easy for the novel to bring readers common feelings. At the same time, such a simple language also reveals the true meaning of love: real love must be sincere and selfless, which requires both sides to pay sincerely, otherwise it will be as sour as pickles.
