"The Paris Massacre" depicts the events of St. Bartholomew's
Night, which was seen by English Protestants as a negative example of
Catholic betrayal, and the film "Queen Margo" is based on
Dumas's classic, which was written in this historical context. The book
was seen as Marlowe's most dangerous play, and at the time, some
Londoners took to the theme of the play to preach the killing of
refugees from lower nations. But Marlowe gives Elizabeth I a warning in
the final scene of the play. Christopher Marlowe was an Elizabethan
playwright, poet and translator who was born in the same year as
Shakespeare. Marlowe is known for blank verse and tragedy. It was the
first time to read a history book about the Paris Commune. The author
gathered the personal experiences of various parties from all walks of
life during the Paris Commune in France, and tried to reproduce the
overall historical picture of that time. The Paris Commune is no
longer a small piece of tofu in a schoolbook, or a labeled summary of a
great man's book, but a living history of countless individual lives.
Without wanting to evaluate the ideologies of both sides, the Paris
Commune was obviously an immature social attempt, a sudden outbreak of
class contradictions under Prussian pressure. Immature social management
and organizational ability after the establishment also let him easily
lost to Versailles. Only regrets about some historical generality:
history is caused by two main class contradictions, but again to observe
numerous historical details, the reader will see each contains a single
class or left or right, you will see is textbooks to summarize into a
class a piece of iron plate is not imagination, to join the camp is also
a common phenomenon for the benefit of economy. Each leader has a more
personal color, personality and policy reflect a distinct personal
color. As a grand background of the citizens, the repeated changes in
the state of mind when the situation changes are vividly reflected in
the article. Whatever the changes, the scourge of war will fall
relentlessly on ordinary citizens. When the "holocaust" came
as a result of the conflict, the horrors of the Versailles army could be
placed on the list of any massacre in the world. It's not just that
cruelty is universal, it has nothing to do with skin color or ethnicity.
The evil of war is the evil of human nature. Some of the books and
treatises read enough and you will find that historical events are like
containers that have been labeled. You know what they are from the
label, but you never see what is inside the container. While all
narratives are the result of a selection process, a closer look at the
details reveals something beyond the label. After all, it is also clear
at the end of the book that labels can change with social change. This
is not a fragment of history, but an attempt to reconstruct history in progress.
