理智与情感是一种平衡,但两边砝码的质量始

After reading "Sense and Sensibility" this book, I benefit a
lot. It is well known that Sense and Sensibility is one of Jane Austen's
most famous novels. Although the novel is a beautiful love story, it
does not lack the author's exploration and comprehension of reason and
emotion. One could even say that if we take away the story, we will find
that this is a book about reason and emotion -- the author expresses his
understanding of reason and emotion through this book. So, for us as
individuals, is it more important to be rational or emotional? In fact,
most of the answers to this question are "all important". If
this is the case, then, it is equivalent to not answering, or to deny
the question itself, is meaningless. "All matters," therefore,
is not the best answer, or even the answer. Of course, some people will
choose reason more important, after all, seeing is believing, logical
deduction is exactly what people want to get the answer. But hope is not
always the best answer. Between the lines, personally, I'm more inclined
to think that "emotion" is much more important than reason --
emotion comes first, reason comes second. In the face of the tension of
love, different people will have different choices, "Sense and
Sensibility" in the elder sister Elena chose a way of tolerance,
the second sister Margarion chose a way of emotional release. Two
choices mean two processes. Elena's love is a struggle of concealement
and heart. All emotions are suppressed, which is more restrained than
Platonic love. Endure also contains a kind of Oriental charm, all the
feelings will not be put outside, shelter and their own heart, a kind of
suffocating feelings. Elena's burst into tears of joy at the end of the
film is a kind of intellectual repression followed by an emotional
eruption. Margari Ann's love is bold and unrestrained, her love from the
beginning of the encounter is doomed to the wind and rain, the sun is
scorching, a kind of up and down scheduling, a Shakespearean style of
dramatic love. In fact, the essence of these two kinds of love are both
the twists and turns of Austen. Although the ending of the film is
changed into a reunion ending, the tragedy in the novel is more
poignant. Although the play describes two people with different
personalities, in fact, the author wants to take these two protagonists
as the carrier to reflect that most people in real life have the two
temperaments of reason and emotion in ideal and real life. In life, some
people make themselves too rational because of the harsh reality of
life, ignore or close good feelings, so that they will not suffer from
possible external harm; The other kind of people in order to live a
better life, even if there is obvious harm, also fly moths into the
fire, the pursuit of carefree and wet emotion, the so-called live out
their true temperament. People with these two temperamental extremes, in
fact, do not have a complete explanation of their own life, because they
are not so happy and live a happy life, the former will only make
themselves submissive, can not release their true temperament, the
latter may be hurt. Therefore, only when we find a balance between
reason and emotion, and properly release our true nature in the rational
control space, can we live a free and rational life, and also make the
people around us live a better life. Also let me know that reason and
emotion is a kind of balance, but the quality of both sides of the
weight is always the constant weight of love.
