A Christmas Carol

I read a book called "A Christmas Carol" written by Charles Dickens,a famous English writer. Scrooge is the character in the novel. He was a tight-fisted hand at the grindstone.Scroog was a squeezing, wrenching, grasping, scraping, clutching, covetous old sinner!It didn't thaw his hard heart at Christmas. He didn't like spending money and giving money to others. One day,Maley's ghost came to his house. Maley,the partner with Scrooge,but he had died 7 years ago. He told Scrooge that three ghosts would come to his house. To begin with,the first ghost took him to recall his past. He was innocent long before. He gradually became a miserable man. What's more,the second ghost took him to watch his employee and his nephew's happy lives. Last but not least,the third ghost took him to observe his miserable future. From then on,he changed himself and became generous. I think it's an educational story. We are obliged to be generous and warm. Don't be selfish and mean.
