The Mob
钢厂小霸王
Books are sometimes vexed by his arbitrary, inextricable conclusions,
which would not have stood a chance of being published in modern times,
or would soon have disappeared. However, the reason why this book can
still be paid attention to one hundred years after its publication, and
is respected by many sociologists as "the book with the greatest
influence on social psychology", must have its unique
characteristics. In my humble opinion, I should also attribute his
strong ability to foresee the future. Weren't the two great wars of the
twentieth century the result of induced, contagious and amplified group
behavior? Look at our China after the liberation of that catastrophe, is
not also a group of carnivals? Despite the lack of evidence in his
argument, Le Pen presciently noted: "Leaders, who invent an
ambiguous word, describe a grand picture, agitate groups... And these
new things are just a new face of the old tyranny..." It is
precisely because of the stability of the deepest unconscious motive of
the group that all the seemingly beautiful revolutions of human beings
are like repeated past -- look at China half a century ago, what is the
difference between it and feudal society? Most of the feelings or to
read the side to jump out. A final word of encouragement: keep your
critical and skeptical spirit and never go with the flow.
