What impresses me in the mob is that when Pangle discusses the scope of change of group opinions and beliefs, he mentioned the constraints of universal beliefs on the behavior and spirit of people in the group. "The tyranny that unconsciously controls people's minds is the only real tyranny because you can't fight it." It is difficult to overthrow and change the beliefs that go deep into the bone marrow unknowingly. These universal beliefs control the mind unknowingly, and you can't even feel being assimilated by it in the gradual change. When you are completely controlled by this belief, you can't resist or don't want to resist.
