乡土中国读后感
After reading Fei Xiaotong's Rural China, I admired the name of the book
before reading it. After reading it, I felt that the core idea of the
book is that China's rural society is an extremely stable and slowly
changing acquaintance society. \n In a thin book composed of several
articles, "The Pattern of Difference Sequence" and "The
Order of Ruling by Rites" are the two core articles. "The
Pattern of Difference Sequence" tells us that Chinese rural society
is a family concept with patrilineal society as its core and extending
outward. \n The Order of Ruling by Rites says, \nBecause China's rural
society is a very familiar acquaintance society, so in the rural
society, people's behavior norms are determined by the "rules"
that have been passed down and agreed upon, the grandparents live
according to such rules, the parents live according to such rules, in a
very slow changing social envi ronment, in a very slow changing social
environment. Their own generation can also deal with the contradictions
in life according to such "rules". On the contrary, if we use
the requirements of the law to forcibly regulate people's behavior, it
will often backfire. For example, in ancient times, when cheating was
discovered, it was necessary to "soak the pig cage", but from
a legal point of view, it was absolutely illegal. When a woman's affair
with another person is discovered, the woman's husband beats the man up
and causes minor injuries. This is the most normal thing in rural China.
However, from a legal point of view, if the man who is beaten sues the
woman's husband, the woman's man is likely to be sentenced for
intentional injury. Therefore, in many cases, the law has become a means
of "suing sticks" to bully the villagersWhether it is the
popularization of "writing" or the application of law, the
reason why the countryside has not been widely popularized is that in a
very familiar and slow-changing society, there is no space for use and
soil for production. Similarly, in a very familiar, slowly changing
society, many things that we take for granted in modern society will be
simplified under that social organization structure. Simplification is
also a kind of elimination of the system, or there is no space and
necessity for the evolution of the system. In the era of rapid
development and drastic changes in modern society, from the perspective
of modern people, the environment of "rural China" will
gradually change because it is not applicable to modern society. The
form of social organization will always change with the change of soil. .
