Jane Eyre is a classic of British studies. Its greatness lies in its
successful portrayal of a strong character who insists on upholding
independence, seeks personal reasons, advocates equality, and does not
yield to fate. The Lord Jane Eyre died from her mother and lived under
the fence. Abandoned and sent to Lowood school in a harsh environment.
Brocklehurst not only slandered her in front of the whole division, but
also let her in front of the crowd. However, before these misfortunes
and sufferings, she did not flinch. She was brave and tenacious. She
made rapid progress in her study and gained the understanding of the
whole school. Similarly, before those noble sisters and gentry, she
always maintained her noble dignity. It is precisely because of her
integrity, modesty and purity that Rochester was deeply moved, made him
feel ashamed and respected Jane Eyre. Finally, Jane Eyre finally found
her own happiness. It is this spirit of daring to resist the vulgar
reality and pursuing equality that makes Charlotte's image of Jane Eyre permanent.
