In the story,Santiago hadn’t got any fish for 84 days.With massive sharp eyes on him,he continued fishing.As efforts paid off,on the 85th day,he succeed in catching a large marlin.However,on the way back,Santiago faced several crowds of sharks biting the marlin.The old man fight against it .Although he got nothing but large boons left,he was still satisfied.

It was a battle between the old man and the marlin.The marlin is the thing that the old man pursued,but there is a tough road of achieving it.As the saying ‘Sow nothing,reap nothing’.The storytold us,if we want to make our dream come true,we should pay the equal effort.
