The book "The Old Man and the Sea" is mainly about the old fisherman Santiago in the sea for 84 days without catching fish. At first a boy named Manolin went with him, but after forty days without any fish, the boy was sent to another boat by his parents, who thought it would be bad luck for him to follow the old man. On the eighty-fifth day, the old man rowed the boat far out early in the morning, and unexpectedly caught a Marlin bigger than the boat. The old man toyed with the fish for two days and finally got it. But the injured fish left a trail of fishy in the sea, attracting numerous sharks to fight, the old man struggled with the shark, but when he returned to the harbor, the Marlin was only a huge skeleton, the old man was exhausted and fell to the land.
