幻梦
The whole book can be said to be the growth of the four March sisters
and the boy Laurie. In this process, they know more about the family,
friendship, love, more rational treatment of them. Jo liked Laurie, but
it was a pure friendship. She wanted Meg to marry Laurie, and then Amy
and Beth to marry him. Jo thought they were a good match, and when
Laurie finally confessed her feelings to her, she realized that she was
in the way and should get rid of herself as soon as possible. So she ran
away, and when she was old enough to know and long for love, lost Laurie
forever; In order to help others, Beth contracted scarlet fever and even
lost her life. She had been thinking of others all her life and was
deeply loved by her family. Facing her death, everyone was heartbroken.
I think even the most selfish man would deplore it; Meg was a burden for
her family and went out to teach as a writer. Although she liked to
pursue nobility and vanity, in the end, she gave up aunt March's
inheritance and married the poor Mr. Brooke, living a bittersweet and
happy life. Amy wanted to be a lady and pursue art, but she always liked
to quarrel with fake Joe. Later, she went to various countries to study
and help the weak and the poor, and became mature, and finally, a
relationship with Laurie.
