prevents me from loving others." The novel takes the love
entanglement between the hero and heroine Darcy and Elizabeth due to
pride and prejudice as the clue, writes four marriages, satirizes and
criticizes people's stupidity, selfishness and money snobbery by means
of comedy, and vividly reflects the world and human conditions of
British township life in a conservative and closed state from the end of
the 18th century to the beginning of the 19th century.
