老人与海

The old man and the sea is not a plot novel in the general sense. It is more like a fable novel. With the help of the story of Santiago, the author shows the hard man spirit in the struggle between life and death. The author uses symbolic writing to send the tough man to nature and let him fight with marlin and ferocious sharks at sea. Through this, the author shows the protagonist's "beautiful demeanor under heavy pressure". So for me, the old man and the sea are not only a story of the old man fighting with the sea, but also a mentor who taught me perseverance! Especially when I encounter setbacks, I will think of the old man's determination to adhere to, and then encourage myself to stand up from setbacks, the more setbacks, the braver, and meet new challenges. Moreover, I also learned in the book that as long as I have a duty bound heart, I can easily solve difficult challenges!
