World Will Be Fine

This book mainly records the American writer Ai Kai's interview with Liang Shuming's predecessors on the national conditions, culture, politics and other issues of Chinese society under a specific historical environment. This book is made up of Teacher Ai Kai's questioning method and Liang Shuming's answering method.

During those turbulent years, senior Liang Shuming led the establishment of the China National Democratic Alliance, running around to shout for China's destiny. This stemmed from his use of his little conscience as a patriotic intellectual to run about China's path. . Later, due to the change of the current situation, he turned to study Buddhism and Confucianism with great concentration, and became a representative figure of this period. What is rare is such a turbulent time. After the tragic Cultural Revolution, Liang Shuming and his wife also suffered from the poisonous hands of the Red Guards, and his wife was beaten by the Red Guards. Senior Liang Shuming's indifference and detachment when talking about this experience with Mr. Ai Kai was really surprising. He always thought that he was telling other people's stories with joy. It took a lot of mind and emotion to resolve this grievance and hatred.

He said something to Mr. Ai Kai: he can lift it up and put it down. Ordinary people can't lift it up and let it go. He was truly able to be at ease in her life. This knowledge is not the knowledge in books, it is not a knowledge that can be said casually, it is the philosophy of life of Confucius.

What I admire most about Mr. Liang Shuming is his practical spirit, which is "executive power" in our current words. Liang Lao's life is a life of action, "I am not simply a thinker, I am a practitioner. I am a person who has to work hard. I work hard all my life." Professor Ai Kai once asked Mr. Liang what was the biggest disappointment in his life, and he replied that he was not disappointed, "because I have done everything I wanted to do." A hard-working life will have a free and easy ending, and a life without disappointments and regrets is what I envy. Walk forward with your head held high, be a person who works hard, and strive to leave no regrets. I think this is Mr. Liang Shuming's greatest inspiration to me.

Liang Shuming's father, Liang Ji, asked, "How will the world be?" Shuming replied, "I believe the world is getting better day by day." I want to say that the world will not be better, but the world will not be worse. Because from the day it became the world, the world is exactly the same as it is today, always maintaining a dynamic balance.
